Market Section Definitions

THE FIVE-DAY MARKET
    Open Tuesday-Saturday from 8am-8pm, the Five-Day Market will carry a variety of fresh produce, dry goods, meat, dairy products, fresh and ready-made sandwiches, salads, and more.
    The Five-Day Market, located in the same building as the Market Office, creates a space for vendors to rent shelving or refrigerated areas to promote their products year around. Vendors will be encouraged to stand by their rented area to promote the products and interact with their customers, but it is not mandatory. For the convenience of the shopping public and the Vendors’ who are unable to man their rented space 12 hours a day 5 days a week,  The Five Day Market will be a combined consignment and rental fee arrangement operated by the Jarvis Country Market.  Vendors will be responsible for keeping their section fully stocked and well merchandised. The Jarvis Country Market will maintain the building and provide cashiers. The Jarvis Country Market will pay the Vendors their weekly Five Day sales net, less consignment fees, on the following Tuesday.

TWO-DAY MARKET
    The Two-Day Market will be open Friday from 10am-6pm, and Saturdays from 10am-4pm. Outdoor and Indoor vendor spaces will be available for those hours. Please contact the Market Manager for availability spaces.

VENDOR VILLAGE
    The Vendor Village, located on  the paved lot toward the back of the property, will be an area of Huts that vendors may rent to promote and sell their products or services. The advantage of being a Vendor Village Permit Holder is that vendors can set up at anytime during the week and work on their display on non-market days. Another advantage will be added customer traffic from the children activity/entertainment area being located in the Vendor Village area (“Panning for Gold” Activity, Fish Pond, and Wagon Rides). Please call for availability and prices.

WORKSHOPS / STUDIOS
    Workshops are larger spaces that are ideal for artisans, crafters, trades, and services. The extra space gives vendors the ability to use it for a workshop/studio and have it open for production and sales (by appointment) during hours approved in their rental agreement with Country market at Jarvis Inc.  These stalls are permanent spaces and require a long term rental agreement (minimum 4 months)

CONSIGNMENT SPACES (Call for Availability)
    Located in the large red buildings, there will be indoor areas of vendor stalls for direct and consignment sales.  These areas will appeal to antique dealers, artisans, crafters and others.
